How to Pay the SEVIS Fee?

The SEVIS fees for USA is mostly paid through online mode. The following are the two options to make the payment:

Option-1 Western Union Quick Pay:

It's easy to pay the I-901 SEVIS fee for USA, by using Western Union Quick Pay. The procedure of Western Union will be to collect the form I-901 fee in your local currency and submit both payment and information I-901 to the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

 

The following steps are involved while making the payment:

 

Step 1: Go to www.fmjfee.com and complete Form I-901.
Step 2: Pay the fee by check or money order.
Step 3: Print the coupon.
Step 4: Take the printed coupon to a Western Union location.
Step 5: Complete the Quick Collect/Quick Pay Form with all of the required information.
Step 6: Submit the Quick Collect/Quick Pay Form and your payment to the Western Union agency for further processing.

Option 2: Pay With a Credit or Debit Card Online:

You can make an online payment using Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or debit cards that have the Visa or MasterCard logo.

 

The following steps are involved in paying by credit or debit card:

 

Step 1: Go to www.fmjfee.com and complete Form I-901.
Step 2: Select the credit card or debit card payment method and enter your card information.
Step 3: Make the payment.
Step 4: Print "SEVIS I-901 Payment Confirmation."

 

Remember:

Generally, it takes two or three business days to process your I-901 SEVIS fee payment. After all the procedures are completed, print out the “SEVIS I-901 Payment Confirmation”, bring it to your student visa interview & you are good to go.
