The selection process involves multiple rounds of interviews. Once the application is reviewed, candidates are longlisted for a preliminary interview in person or via video conference. It may be followed by a semi-final interview at the selection committee's discretion. The shortlisted candidates for the final interview will be invited for a social engagement, like a tea or dinner party, hosted by the committee's chairman. The beneficiaries are picked after the final interview.
