The University of Delaware offers a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science through its Department of Computer and Information Sciences. 12th Grade

To apply, students must have completed 12th grade. Required subjects include English, Mathematics, Science, History/Social Sciences, Foreign Languages, and academic electives. At least two of the social studies units must be history courses, with one being world history. An extra math or science unit can replace the fourth social studies unit. Courses like psychology can also count towards the social studies requirement. American Sign Language (ASL) meets the foreign language requirement. However, foreign language courses taken before ninth grade do not count. Students aiming for mathematics, engineering, business, computer science, and natural science majors should take four years of mathematics, including trigonometry, pre-calculus, and/or calculus.
