• Background: Share your academic, personal, and work experiences that make you ready for this challenging program. Talk about any achievements that might not be clear from your grades. Also, mention any other activities or interests you wish to pursue while at UC Berkeley or in the Bay Area.
• Understanding of the Program: Explain how this program will help you reach your academic, work, or personal goals. Describe what you know about the program’s requirements and the courses available to you. Don’t forget to mention the name of the program you are applying for.
• Anomalies: If there are any unusual things in your academic records, such as a failed course, a low GPA, or a change in your major, explain those. If everything looks normal, you can skip this part.

Curriculum Vitae (CV)

Include a list of all your jobs in order, along with your responsibilities. Also, add all the degrees you have earned, any courses you have taken, and any other experiences that may interest the academic review committee.
