The University of Winnipeg provides on-campus housing options to students. For students living alone, it offers furnished dorms in McFeetors Hall and single rooms in Balmoral Houses inside the campus. It also offers furnished and unfurnished apartments for families and couples. There is also a downtown hostel run inside the McFeetors Hall student residence.
The hostel provides single-room and double-room options which are either private suites or shared services suites. The hostel also has fully private high-class VIP suites. The hostel rates range from $68 per night to $103 per night. The hall of residence fees is around $4300 per term, and the Balmoral House ranges around $2300. The rates differ based on the meal plan and the options chosen. Diversity Food Services offer various meal plans and options for the students to choose from.
The University of Winnipeg’s Awards & Financial Aid Office deals with financial aid applications. It also offers help to the students to get information about the choices available and their eligibility criteria and associated deadlines. The university offered nearly $4.7 million in scholarships and bursaries in the year 2017-2018 to assist the education of the students.
