The Humber College was founded in 1967. It is a publicly funded institution in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, offering a range of credentials including bachelor's degrees, diplomas, certificates and Ontario graduate certificates. Giacomo Gianniotti, Dina Pugliese, Zsofia Balazs, Sarika Sehgal, Giorgio Mammoliti are some of the notable alumni of the college. Humber North Campus - It is located in northwest Toronto adjacent to the Humber River and is the largest of all three campuses. It offers full-time and part-time programs in fields including Business, Applied Technology, Health Sciences, Media Studies, Liberal Arts, Hospitality and Tourism.

The campus also has an indoor pool and sauna, athletics facilities and a fully functioning spa. The campus also includes University of Guelph-Humber with a collaborative university-college partnership between the University of Guelph and Humber College. The Barrett Centre for Technology Innovation, located at Humber's North Campus, is home to many applied research projects with partners across multiple sectors.

1. Humber Lakeshore Campus- It is located along the shores of Lake Ontario. It sits on the large grounds of the former Lakeshore Psychiatric Hospital and Lakeshore Teachers College. 
 
2. Humber Orangeville Campus- It is located at the Alder Street Recreation Complex, Orangeville, Ontario. It has wireless classrooms along with a student commons and computer lab and an On-site fitness centre, including swimming pool, two hockey rinks, library, and food court.

Infrastructure

The college has 3 campuses. The North Campus has residence facilities with a capacity of 1,000 students with a library, indoor pool and sauna, athletics facilities and fully functioning spa. The Centre for Trades and Technology (just up the street), featuring two full-sized townhomes and dedicated labs for construction, home renovation, plumbing, electrical, woodworking and cabinetmaking programs, is an added attraction.

The Lakeshore campus has residence for 400 students, a library, a variety of eating establishments, LEED-Silver certified Lakeshore Commons building featuring airy, open common areas and workspaces, computer labs, multi-media production suites, an art gallery, and a cafeteria.

The Orangeville campus is home to more than 200 full-time students, with an on-site fitness centre including swimming pool, two hockey rinks, library, and food court. The Capital Development of Humber is responsible for new construction and renovation projects and provides project design, planning and space allocation services to improve and expand the campus environment. Facilities Management is responsible for providing a safe, clean, healthy and well-maintained campus environment that supports well-being and promotes teaching and learning.

Residence

Students can choose to opt for stay on campus, homestays, or off-campus/renting. Humber provides on-campus residence for more than 1,450 students at its two Toronto campuses. Once you have been accepted to study at Humber, you may apply to live in residence by filling an International Student Residence Application form. However, On-Campus housing is limited and is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Students looking for a welcoming place to live and wanting to add an enriching element to their Canadian experience can consider a homestay option.

Homestay providers coordinate accommodations with a host family, which helps ease the transition to life in a new country. Students should do their own evaluation of each homestay provider. There are many options for living off-campus. Students can rent a place in the neighbourhood. The college does not provide any information or guarantee regarding renting, and it totally depends upon the students to find a suitable place.

A limited number of entrance scholarships are available to full-time students entering a Humber post-secondary/postgraduate program for the first time. Scholarships open to full-time students who are entering a Humber post-secondary/postgraduate program for the first time are- 

  • list items Humber Students' Federation Entrance Scholarship - Presented to a full-time student enrolling in a Humber program for the first time. Students must exhibit high academic standards (minimum 80% grade point average), as selected by the scholarship committee.
  • list items Jean Augustine Legacy Scholarship - A scholarship is presented to a student from the Etobicoke-Lakeshore area, entering any Humber postsecondary program for the first time. The successful recipient must demonstrate their financial need and how they are working to overcome obstacles in the pursuit of their educational goals.
