University of Texas at Austin Location

The main campus of UT Austin is located in downtown Austin with Clarksville on its west, Central East Austin on its southeast, central Austin on its north, and Chestnut on its east.

The university provides much of the color and vibe to the city, and there cannot be much surprise that the heart of the city is well-connected by all means of transport. The campus is 15 minutes northwards by road from the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport. Shuttles are available from the airport. The university is 10 minutes eastwards from the Amtrak train station at Austin. Capital Metro and Greyhound Bus Lines connect the university campus to all the major spots in the city. The university has also made arrangements for UT Shuttle Bus service and Capital Metro Bus service for easily navigating the campus.

UT Austin is lucky to be situated in the best of natural and built environments. Offices of the leading IT companies on one side and Hill Country on the other side make the Texas sun soothing while offering the right mix of metropolitan pace and small-town tranquility.
