Rutgers University, The State of New Jersey, has three campuses across the state in New Brunswick, Camden, and Newark.The campus at New Brunswick is the largest of them housing the School of Engineering, the School of Arts and Sciences, and the School of Biological Studies and Environmental Sciences.
New Brunswick is a city in Middlesex County, New Jersey, in the New York City metropolitan area. One can get to Rutgers New Brunswick Campus by train. From Penn Station (8th Ave and 33rd St), take NJ Transit's Northeast Corridor line (final destination Trenton) to New Brunswick. From New York City, the best way to reach the campus is by road. Rutgers is approx. 58 km from New York, and it should take around 45 minutes. One can also take a bus from Port Authority Terminal in New York City to New Brunswick downtown. The approximate time taken by bus is one hour. The train to New Brunswick leaves regularly. There is a taxi office behind the New Brunswick train station.
