University of Alberta Location

The university harbours campuses in Edmonton, the Augustana Campus in Camrose and a staff centre in downtown Calgary. The original north campus of the university consists of 150 buildings which cover 50 city blocks on the south rim of the North Saskatchewan River valley, directly across from downtown Edmonton.

The university has five distributed campuses including, apart from the North Campus, two auxiliary satellites: Campus Saint-Jean in southeast Edmonton, and Augustana Campus in Camrose. The Hudson's Bay department store in downtown Edmonton, renamed Enterprise Square, acts as a campus for adult students from the Faculty of Extension.

The Edmonton International Airport is approximately 25km away from the University of Alberta North Campus. Light Rail Transit Trains arrive every 15 minutes during the day and every 5-10 minutes at peak hours. Most bus routes run every 15 or 30 minutes, depending on the time of day and season.
