Texas A&M University Admission Details & Process

You can apply as a first-year applicant, an undergraduate or graduate applicant, or a transfer applicant. The process for applying to courses is the same for all levels. However, the documents and TOEFL score requirements are different.

How can I apply to the Texas A&M University?

Texas A&M University accepts admissions applications online. Herewith are the admission application steps.

Step 1: Admission Application: Apply through ApplyTexas or Common App. The University expects you to fill in the name as it appears on your passport.

Step 2: Pay the $90 application fee along with the centralised application service fee after filling out the application form online. You can pay the fee via ApplyTexas or Common App or by credit card

Step 3: Submit your English Proficiency test scores.

Step 4: Upload your official high school transcripts. The transcripts must be signed by your school official (Principal, Registrar, Controller of Examinations or the Ministry of Education). If not, the transcript will be deemed unofficial. In addition, the transcript must be accompanied by a translated copy or credential evaluation by an approved translator.

Step 5: Submit your official test scores, GRE and GMAT scores. (for graduates only)

Step 6: Upload the required documents relevant to the course you have applied for. (for graduates only)

Step 7: On submission of your application, you will receive your Universal Identification Number (UIN) via email. It will have instructions on how to access the Applicant Information System (AIS) through the Applicant tab ‘applicant.tamu.edu. Have a regular check to ensure the submission of all documents is completed and nothing is pending.
