Residence options

The QUT accommodation service provides students with information and advice on finding and securing accommodation. Students can rent a room in a student residential complex. Alternatively, students can rent an agent-operated student accommodation.

Brisbane is well connected to different parts of the world through direct flights. It takes around 20 minutes to reach the airport from the Gardens Point campus and 12 minutes from the Kelvin Grove campus The Queensland Rail City network provides urban, suburban and inter-urban electric passenger railway services. There are ample bus routes and cabs to reach the campus.

In their free time, students can Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary and the cruise along the Brisbane river. If you want a long day out, you can visit the Stradbroke Island on a day trip. Other options are the Botanical Gardens, Queensland Art Gallery & Gallery of Modern Art or the Queen Street Mall. Adventurers can go for the  Story Bridge Adventure Climb.
