Chemical

MIT's Chemical Engineering Department offers BS, M.S CEP, Ph.D. and Ph.D. CEP programs. The undergraduate course includes BS in Chemical Engineering, Chemical-Biological Engineering and an individual Bachelor of Science degree.

The graduate course includes three programs, namely Master of Science in Chemical Engineering Practice degree which is a one-year course offering more application-based teaching, a doctoral degree in chemical engineering which is primarily research-oriented and a doctoral in chemical engineering practice degree which combines research as well as industrial experience.

The department has a total of 47 full-time faculty along with 53 staff members most of whom are recipients of awards such as  Bingham Medal Award, Outstanding Young Researcher Award, IChemE's Hinchley Medal, to name a few, as well as receivers of eminent fellowships, scholarships, and publications in internationally recognized journals. The department also consists of a ChemE Communication Lab which is built with the aim of encouraging open communication among student engineers. It employs a peer training program in which students can work on their oral, written and visual communication skills. It also facilitates students with various other resources such as career resources, postdoctoral association and regular event organization, for example, the Ins and Out of Grant Writing and other social events.

Civil and Environmental Engineering

The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at MIT strives towards combining creativity and innovation with infrastructure and engineering. It offers an ABET-accredited undergraduate degree wherein students can choose and modify their preferred education tracks.

Electrical Engineering and Computer Science

The Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology prides in being the largest department at MIT with a sizeable flow of undergraduates and graduates every year. EECS offers undergraduate programs, namely BS in Electrical Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and Computer Science and Engineering. The university doesn't offer a terminal master's degree.
