Fanshawe College Intakes and Deadlines

Fanshawe admits international students in three intakes - Fall (September), Winter (January), and Summer (May) though not every program runs in every intake. Admission is on a rolling basis, ranked by application strength and date, so popular programs fill quickly and early applications have the best chance.

Fanshawe College Fees

Fanshawe tuition for international students is program-specific and charged for the full college year. The 2026–27 figures below are approximate annual estimates for tuition only; aviation and some specialised programs cost considerably more. INR values are approximate (around ₹61 per CAD 1).

Fanshawe College International Students Criteria

• 
  Undergraduate (diploma) academic requirement: Completion of Class 12 with program-specific prerequisites; degree programs are more competitive and may require specific subjects (e.g. Mathematics, Biology, or Chemistry).
• 
  Graduate certificate requirement: A completed diploma or bachelor's degree in a related field; some programs require relevant academic or work background.
• 
  English proficiency (most programs): IELTS Academic 6.0 overall (no band below 5.5), or TOEFL iBT 79–88, or PTE Academic 53–58, or Duolingo 105–115.
• 
  English proficiency (SDS / select programs): IELTS 6.0 with no band below 6.0 for Student Direct Stream applicants and some competitive programs.
• 
  English waiver: Indian students may qualify for an English-test waiver with proof of at least two years of education in English.
• 
  Supporting documents: Academic transcripts, proof of English proficiency, a resume, and program-specific items such as a cover letter or portfolio where required.
• 
  Application: International students apply through Fanshawe's official international application portal; the application fee is non-refundable.
• 
  Study permit: After receiving a Letter of Acceptance and paying the tuition deposit within 30 days, students receive the documents needed to apply for a Canadian study permit.

Fanshawe College Scholarships

Fanshawe offers over CAD 5 million in funds that students don't repay, including awards specifically for international students. Most entrance awards are applied toward tuition, with some requiring a short application.

1. Academic Entrance Scholarship (International)

  A partial tuition award commonly valued at CAD 2,000, applied to first-semester tuition for eligible international students.
• 
  Awarded based on academic merit at admission.

2. International Degree Entrance Award

• 
  For international visa students in a bachelor's degree program, with a total award pool of up to CAD 30,000 across the academic year.
• 
  Requires full-time degree enrolment and progression to level 2; recipients confirmed by the International Office, subject to available funds.

3. Spousal Scholarship Program

  Financial support for families where both spouses enrol in eligible programs, open to students from any country.

4. Program & School-Specific Awards
