Undergraduate academic requirement: A recognised Year 12-equivalent qualification; Indian applicants typically need around 60–70% in Class 12, depending on the board, with subject prerequisites for some courses.
Postgraduate requirement: A recognised bachelor's degree, usually a Second Class (2:2) or around 50–55%+, depending on the program; the MBA and some courses may require relevant work experience.
English proficiency: IELTS 6.0 overall for most undergraduate courses (some 5.5) and IELTS 6.5 for most postgraduate courses, or equivalent TOEFL iBT / PTE scores; some courses require higher.
Exemptions / pathways: Students from English-medium backgrounds may be exempt; those who fall short can enter through a foundation or pre-master's pathway.
Supporting documents: Academic transcripts and certificates, proof of English proficiency, a personal statement, one or two references, a CV (for postgraduate), and a passport copy.
Application: UG applicants apply via UCAS or directly to UEL; PG and MBA applicants apply directly through UEL's portal. After an offer, students pay the tuition deposit and complete a pre-CAS interview.
Student visa: UEL issues a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) once conditions are met and the deposit is paid; students then apply for the UK Student visa with proof of funds and any required documents (such as a TB test certificate).

1. UEL International Scholarships (tuition reductions)
A tuition-fee reduction of £1,000 to £5,000 in the first year of study, depending on the program.
