Lambton College Intakes and Deadlines

Lambton admits international students in three intakes - Fall (September), Winter (January), and Spring (May) but not every program runs in every intake, so the program page is the source of truth. Admission is competitive, applications are reviewed in 2–5 business days, and popular programs close early, so applying ahead matters.

Lambton College Fees

Lambton tuition for international students is program-specific and among the lowest in Canada. The 2026–27 figures below are approximate annual estimates for tuition only. INR values are approximate (around ₹61 per CAD 1).

Lambton College Programmes

Lambton offers 70+ post-secondary programs, built around applied, career-focused learning with co-op options:

Lambton College International Students Criteria

• 
  Undergraduate (diploma) academic requirement: Completion of Class 12 with an equivalent GPA of around 2.8/4.0 (roughly 60%+), plus any program-specific prerequisites.
• 
  Graduate certificate requirement: A completed diploma or bachelor's degree in a related field; some programs require subject-specific backgrounds.
• 
  English proficiency (diploma): IELTS Academic 6.0 (no band below 6.0 for some programs), or TOEFL iBT 69–78, or PTE Academic 60.
• 
  English proficiency (postgraduate): IELTS Academic 6.5 (no band below 6.0), or TOEFL iBT 88, or PTE Academic 60, depending on the program.
• 
  Study gap: Lambton accepts up to a 5-year study gap; applicants with more than a one-year gap should provide proof of employment.
• 
  Supporting documents: Certified academic transcripts and diplomas (with English translation), proof of English proficiency, and a copy of the passport.
• 
  Application: International students apply online directly or through an authorised Lambton agent; the CAD 150 application fee is non-refundable.
• 
  Study permit: After receiving and accepting an offer and paying the first-year tuition, students receive the documents needed to apply for a Canadian study permit.

Lambton College Scholarships

Lambton offers international students automatic entrance scholarships plus bursaries and work opportunities. Most entrance awards require no separate application and are applied directly to first-year tuition.

1. International Student Entrance Scholarship

  Valued at up to CAD 3,000 (commonly CAD 1,500 applied to Term 1 tuition and CAD 1,500 to Term 2), awarded to eligible students starting at the Sarnia campus.

  Amounts vary by program; awarded automatically at admission with no separate application.

2. Program-Specific Entrance Awards

• 
  Additional entrance awards are valued between CAD 1,500 and CAD 4,000 depending on the program and field of study.

3. Free Co-op Semester (high achievers)

• 
  For outstanding students in eligible programs, the co-op work semester may be offered at no tuition cost, a distinctive cost saving.

4. Bursaries & Financial Aid

  Need-based bursaries funded by donors, awarded on demonstrated financial need.

5. Work-Study & EBAT
