Western Sydney University Intake

The Western Sydney University has two intakes - Autumn and Spring. The most preferred intake by international students is the Autumn intake.

Western Sydney University Fees

Western Sydney University Entry Requirements

English Language Requirements:

International students must demonstrate proficiency in English if their previous studies were not in English. Acceptable tests for most programs include an IELTS Academic overall score of 6.5 (minimum 6.0 in each band), or equivalent scores in TOEFL iBT or PTE.

Western Sydney International Scholarship:

• 
  Receive either AUD $6,000 or AUD $3,000 per year towards tuition fees, for eligible international students commencing an undergraduate degree up to 3 years.
• 
  Eligible for international students from all countries (excluding Australia/New Zealand citizens or permanent residents) in CRICOS-registered undergraduate degrees excluding certain programs at WSU.
• 
  Automatically assessed with admission application and no separate scholarship application required.

International Alumni Scholarship:

• 
  Receive AUD $10,000 per year towards tuition fees, for up to 3 years (undergraduate) or up to 2 years (postgraduate), for eligible international students.
• 
  Eligible for international students from all countries (excluding Australia/New Zealand citizens or permanent residents) commencing a CRICOS-registered degree in 2026.
• 
  Automatically assessed with admission application and no separate scholarship application required.

Vice-Chancellor’s Academic Excellence Postgraduate Scholarship:

• 
  Tuition fee waiver of 50% of tuition fees for eligible international students starting a new postgraduate coursework degree.
• 
  Eligible for international students from all countries (excluding Australia/New Zealand citizens or permanent residents) commencing a new postgraduate degree in 2025.
