Macquarie charges tuition by session (two sessions per year: Session 1 January/February, Session 2 July). The commencement fee, a portion of Session 1 fees set at AUD 16,000–23,500 is paid on accepting the offer, with the balance for that session due at the start of enrollment. Subsequent sessions are billed at the start of each session in January and July. Missing the session payment deadline attracts a AUD 150 late fee and risks cancellation of enrolment. The census date each session is the last day to withdraw without financial or academic penalty; withdrawal after census means fees are charged in full.
Macquarie automatically assesses most international students for scholarships on application, with awards confirmed in the offer letter. The India-specific award is among the most generous in Australia for Indian applicants.
