Applicants receive a monthly stipend of INR 81,170, disbursed quarterly into their Italian bank account. The initial payment of the grant is contingent upon the completion of university enrollment and the submission of all required documents, following the administrative procedures in place.
Scholarships are provided for a study duration of either six or nine months, spanning from January to October. Scholarship holders are not required to pay university tuition fees, although they must cover a regional tax of €140 and a stamp duty of €16.
Applications for the scholarship must be submitted exclusively through the Study in Italy portal. It's mandatory for applicants to have a current passport or identity card, and a clear photocopy of this document must be uploaded at the time of application to avoid disqualification. Academic requirements

Age limits
For Italian-taught courses:
Applicants need a B2 level certification in Italian according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). A certification from an Italian course at a university may also be accepted.
For English-taught courses:
A B2 level certification in English is required, according to the CEFR. Candidates from English-speaking countries can self-certify their proficiency. Those with an English-taught Bachelor’s degree can submit documentation proving their program was conducted in English. No Italian language proof is needed for courses entirely in English.
For Italian language and culture advanced courses:
A minimum of A2 level certification in Italian is needed, as per the CEFR. Certifications from an Italian language or Italian-taught course at a university or cultural institute are also acceptable.
For PhD programs and Research projects:
No language proficiency proof is required.
