Yale University Application Process

Step 1: Prepare Your Documents

• Gather Letters of Recommendation (LOR)
• Obtain a Counselor recommendation and two teacher evaluations

Step 2: Submit Additional Documents

• Provide a School report, including transcripts
• Submit SAT/ACT scores, if applicable
• Show proof of English Language Proficiency scores
• Include any other supplementary materials like academic work or extra recommendations
• Provide a Mid-year report if you received new grades in the middle of the school year

Step 4: Pay the Application Fees

The application fee is USD 80, approximately INR 6.74 Thousand. You can pay using a credit card, debit card, or PayPal.

Yale offers a Payment Plan through the Office of Student Financial Services. This allows you to pay education expenses monthly. The enrollment cost is $100 per contract. If you choose the annual plan, with 10 monthly payments, half of the Total Plan Amount will be applied to each academic term (Fall and Spring) as a credit to your Student Account. For those choosing the Fall or Spring-only plans, with 5 monthly payments, the Total Plan Amount will be credited for the corresponding term.
