The sport management program meets the guidelines set by the Commission of Sport Management Accreditation and is in the process of getting accredited.

Students will learn about different parts of the sports industry while also gaining important business and management skills.

The curriculum includes four main parts: required major courses, elective major courses, a practicum, and major-related courses.

The program focuses a lot on hands-on learning. This includes class projects that involve real-world work, sports market research, and capstone projects.

Students can start gaining practical experience in the sports industry as early as their junior year through the practicum.

12th Grade

To apply, students must have completed high school with a minimum GPA of 2.50 on a 4.0 scale. They need to have studied: four units of English (three with significant writing), three units of mathematics (at least algebra I), three units of natural science (two with lab work), three units of social science (like history or psychology), two units of the same foreign language or American Sign Language, and two additional elective units from approved courses.

TOEFL

Marks: 71.0

A minimum score of 71 out of 120 is required on the TOEFL exam.

IELTS

Marks: 6.0

Students must score at least 6 out of 9 on the IELTS.

DUOLINGO

Marks: 95.0

A score of 95 out of 160 is needed on the Duolingo test.

PTE

Marks: 50.0

Students must achieve a minimum score of 50 out of 90 on the PTE.

Step One: Additional Documents Required

• Applicants must submit certified transcripts showing all previous academic coursework, including any post-secondary education.
• Applicants need to complete and submit the following medical information: A Physician’s Evaluation Form and a Medical History Form filled out by a physician, confirming the applicant's mental and physical fitness to study at the college level. Documentation of MMR (measles, mumps, and rubella) immunization. Proof of immunization for meningitis and hepatitis B, or a signed waiver stating that the applicant has decided not to be vaccinated. Proof of medical insurance that meets the university's requirements.
• Certification of Finances.
• Proof of English language proficiency.
• Standardized test score (ACT or SAT).

Step Three: Application Fees

• The application fee is USD 30, which is approximately INR 2.53 Thousand.
• Payment can be made using a credit card.
• UWF offers a payment plan that allows you to pay in up to five installments for the fall and spring semesters. For the summer semester, you can pay in up to four installments. The number of installments depends on when you enroll in the payment plan.
• You need to have an account balance of $300 or more to be eligible for the payment plan.
• Late payments will incur fees: $100 for tuition and $50 for housing.
• A one-time enrollment charge of $15 will be added to your first payment.
