The Electrical Engineering program at The University of West Florida is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission (EAC) of ABET.

To apply, students must have completed high school with a minimum GPA of 2.50 on a 4.0 scale. They need to have studied: four units of English (three with significant writing), three units of mathematics (algebra I or higher), three units of natural science (two with lab work), three units of social science (like history or economics), two units of the same foreign language or American Sign Language up to the second level, and two additional academic elective units.

Payment method: Credit card.
The University offers a payment plan that allows up to five installments for the fall and spring semesters and up to four installments for the summer semester. The number of installments available depends on when the applicant enrolls in the plan.
An account balance of $300 or more is needed to qualify for the payment plan.
Late payments will incur fees: $100 for tuition and $50 for housing.
A one-time enrollment fee of $15 will be added to the first payment.
