Students must finish both 10th and 12th grade from a state board or CBSE with an average of over 70% and no subject below 60%. They should have studied: 2 years of history (or the history of their country instead of U.S. History), 4 years of composition and literature in the language of instruction, 3 years (4 years recommended) of college-preparatory math covering elementary and advanced algebra as well as geometry. They need 2 years of college-preparatory science, including biology, chemistry, or physics, and one year of approved interdisciplinary or earth and space sciences can count for one year. Computer Science and Engineering courses can also count as an additional science. Students should have 2 years of a second language, 1 yearlong course (or 2 semesters) of visual and performing arts, and 1 more course from any of the above subjects.
