Geography and Environmental Resources is about how people change, affect, adapt to, watch over, and take care of the natural environment around them. Students in geography learn about the changing relationship between nature and society in different settings, including the field, computer labs, and traditional classrooms.
Graduate students can choose between two areas of focus: Geographic Information Science (GIS) or Environmental Geography and Sustainability. They work closely with a faculty advisor and a committee to create and complete an original research project.
To earn a graduate degree, students must complete a total of 30 Graduate Credit Hours. At least 50% of these hours must be at the 500 level or higher.
