They must complete certain prerequisite courses with a grade of 'C' or better, which include: Anatomy & Physiology I and II (with labs) for 8 credits, Exercise Physiology for 3-4 credits, and Kinesiology for 3-4 credits. It is also recommended to take Nutrition (3 credits) and a Statistics/Research Methods course (3 credits). If the applicant has a degree in an unrelated field, they must have taken a course related to strength and conditioning program design or enroll in EX 363 Developing Strength & Conditioning programs with lab during their first semester.
