Sacred Heart University (SHU) offers a Master of Business Administration (MBA) program through the John F. Welch College of Business. Graduation

Applicants must have a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution with a GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale. The director will review transcripts to determine if courses are equivalent. Up to nine credits, along with foundation courses, can be transferred. There are specific waiver requirements for some courses: WGB 518 can be waived if Statistics is completed with a grade of B or better. WGB 519 can be waived if Microeconomics and Macroeconomics are completed with grades of B or better. WGB 521 can be waived for those with a degree in business or on a case-by-case basis. WGB 602 can be waived for students who have completed twelve credit hours in Accounting with grades of B or better in the last two years, or for those with an Accounting degree in the last three years. WGB 603 can be waived for students who have completed twelve credit hours in Finance with grades of B or better in the last two years, or for those with a Finance degree in the last three years.
