Accounting, BBA at Pace University

Pace University offers a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting through its Lubin School of Business. Step 1: Prepare Documents for Application

Letters of Recommendation (LOR)
You need to provide two letters of recommendation from a teacher or counselor who knows you well. These letters should talk about your academic skills and personal qualities. Note that international transfer students do not need to submit letters of recommendation.

Essays
You must write one personal statement or essay that is about 250-650 words long. This essay will help the Admission Committee understand you better. Make sure this essay is your own work. You can choose any topic or respond to one of the following prompts:

• Share a background, identity, interest, or talent that is important to you and why your application would be incomplete without it.
• Tell about a time when you faced failure. How did it affect you, and what did you learn?
• Discuss a time when you questioned a belief or idea. What made you act? Would you do the same again?
• Describe a problem you have solved or want to solve. Explain why it matters to you and the steps you took or could take to find a solution.
• Talk about an accomplishment or event that marked your growth from childhood to adulthood in your culture, community, or family.
• Describe a topic or idea that you find so interesting that you lose track of time. Why does it interest you, and who do you turn to for more information?
• Write an essay on any topic you like. This could be something you have already written or a new idea.

Step 2: Additional Documents Required

• Official transcripts, diplomas, and leaving examination scores from both secondary and post-secondary schools (in English).
• Proof of English Proficiency test scores.
• SAT or ACT scores (optional).
• A copy of your valid passport or national identity card showing your photo and name.
