Write a one thousand-word essay on one of the following topics:

• What would you choose to do (in a non-design field) if you could not become a design professional?
• Cite a book (other than a religious text) that has influenced your understanding of architecture and design. Explain how it influenced you.
• Estimate the number of piano tuners currently working in Denver, Colorado, without using reference materials. Explain your estimation process step-by-step.
• Describe a real place you have never visited. Explain why you want to visit and what you hope to learn there.
• Explain how a designed object (not a religious icon) has influenced your thinking.
• Describe a situation where you had to work as a team member with people from different backgrounds, interests, or opinions.

Provide a résumé that describes your education, work experience, extracurricular activities, and interests.
