To apply, students must be high school graduates. They need to meet either the Smarter Balanced requirements or the Curriculum requirements. For Smarter Balanced, students must achieve a Level 3 or higher in English Language Arts and Mathematics. For Curriculum, they must meet minimum course requirements with a grade average of C (2.0 on a 4.0 scale) or show competencies in areas where requirements were not met. They also need to rank in the top 60% of their graduating class or have an ACT score of 18 (or a Redesigned SAT score of 950). A minimum high school GPA of 2.6 on a 4.0 scale is also required.
