Graduation

Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree. A minimum undergraduate GPA of 2.75 is required. Students with a GPA below 2.75 may still be considered. Those with a GPA between 2.74 and 2.25 may be conditionally admitted by the MBA Program Director and must meet specific academic conditions. The MBA program has four prerequisite areas: Accounting, Finance, Management, and Statistics. These prerequisites do not need to be completed before starting the program but must be done before taking the related MBA courses. Students can fulfill these prerequisites through traditional or non-traditional courses, CLEP or DSST exams, or based on professional experience. Alternatively, all prerequisites can be completed by taking one course, BUS 5005 Business Foundations for Administrative Professionals (3 credits). International students must also complete MBA 505 Graduate School Success (3 credits) as part of their degree, increasing the total credits needed for graduation by three unless approved otherwise.
