Graduation

Applicants must have a bachelor's degree. They need a minimum undergraduate GPA of 2.75. Students with a GPA below 2.75 may still be considered. Those with a GPA between 2.74 and 2.25 may be conditionally admitted by the MBA Program Director and must meet special academic conditions. The MBA program has four prerequisite areas: Accounting, Finance, Management, and Statistics. These prerequisites do not need to be completed before starting the program but must be done before taking the related MBA course. Students can fulfill these prerequisites through various means such as traditional courses, CLEP or DSST exams, or based on professional experience. There is also a course, BUS 5005 Business Foundations for Administrative Professionals, which can fulfill all prerequisites. International students must take MBA 505 Graduate School Success (3 credits) as part of their degree, increasing the total required credits unless approved by the MBA Program Director.
