Application Process for Adelphi University

Step One: Prepare Documents for Application

Gather the following documents:

• Letters of Recommendation (LOR): You need one or more letters from a school or college counselor, teacher, or administrator. Letters from other sources, like a volunteer coordinator, can also be accepted.

Step Two: Additional Documents Required

Make sure to submit these important documents:

• Official Secondary School/University Records: These should be sent directly to Adelphi University. You need to provide one set in your native language and one set translated into English. Remember, it is your responsibility to submit and translate all required documents and fees.
• No Photocopies: Photocopies are not accepted unless they have an official school stamp or seal.
• Personal Statement or Essay: Write a personal statement of 500 words or less in response to one of the questions provided, or choose your own topic. You can also include a report or paper you wrote during the current school year if needed.
• SAT Scores: Submit your SAT scores if they are required.
• Proof of English Proficiency: Show that you have the necessary English skills.
• Suggested Supplemental Items: Include a resume that shows your employment, volunteer work, or other extracurricular activities.

Step Four: Application Fees for This Course

The application fee is USD 40, which is approximately INR 3.37 Thousand. Payment can be made using a credit card.

Students can choose a two-payment plan for each semester. Half of the balance, plus a $60 fee for the two-payment plan, must be paid by:

• August 1 for the fall semester
• January 6 for the spring semester

The final payment is due on:

• October 15 for the fall semester
• March 15 for the spring semester

Adelphi also offers a monthly Tuition Payment Plan, allowing you to pay in monthly installments. There is a nonrefundable application fee of $50 payable to Tuition Pay.
