The Faculty of Technology at the University of Sunderland provides a BSc (Hons) degree in Networks and Cybersecurity. This is a three-year course focused on IT and Software. For international students, the tuition fees are £12,500 per year. To enroll in this degree program, students must meet the English language requirements, which can be proven through IELTS or PTE scores.

The Networks and Cybersecurity program combines strong academic learning with hands-on skills, including the Cisco Certified Network Associate curriculum designed for small and medium-sized networks.

Students will gain practical experience in designing and building networks. They will also become skilled in five main areas of network management: fault, configuration, accounting, performance, and security. For each area, students will learn about different protocols and how to analyze various models and standards.

Additionally, the course covers all the basics of computing. Topics include web applications, database systems, programming, and software development.

Marks: 6.0

Students must have a minimum band score of 5.5 in each section.

PTE

Marks: 56.0

The University may allow a payment plan for new international students from countries such as Turkey, Egypt, Indonesia, Ghana, Nigeria, Morocco, Lebanon, India, Kenya, and Jordan.

If you qualify for the installment plan, the following criteria must be met:

• Pay a £3,500 deposit before getting your Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS).
• Pay 50% of the total fees for the academic year before you enroll, and the remaining 50% by January 29, 2021.
• Be a national from one of the eligible countries mentioned above.
• Provide proof of your ability to pay, like a bank statement approved by the University of Sunderland.
