BA History (Ancient and Modern) at University of Oxford

The Faculty of History at the University of Oxford offers a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in History, covering both Ancient and Modern history. This degree program lasts for three years and focuses mainly on Humanities and Social Sciences. For international students, the tuition fees at Oxford University are £41,130 per year. To apply for this degree, students must provide proof of English language proficiency, which can be demonstrated through IELTS or PTE scores.

12th Grade

To apply, students need to have completed high school with at least 90%. It is highly recommended that candidates take History at A-level, Advanced Higher, Higher Level in the IB, or an equivalent course. While not required, having knowledge in classical languages, Classical Civilisation, and Ancient History may help in the course. For CBSE board students, grades will not be known at the application time. They need grades A1 in relevant subjects, with a total of A1 A1 A2 A2 A2. For CISCE board students, an overall grade of 90% or more is needed, with at least 95% in two subjects (including relevant ones) and 85% in the other three subjects. State board examinations and NIOS Year XII qualifications are not accepted.
