• Reference Letter: You only need one reference letter.
• If you are still in school, get your reference from a tutor, teacher, principal, or headteacher.
• If you left education a while ago, ask an employer, volunteer supervisor, or trainer for a reference.
• Do not ask family members, friends, partners, or ex-partners for a reference, as this may lead to cancellation of your application.
• In the application form, you only need to provide the referee's name and email ID.
• An academic reference is required in the UCAS application. If you are a graduate and have been working for less than three years, an employer reference is acceptable (only for BN (Hons) in Nursing).
