MSc Cancer Biology at University of Essex

The University of Essex offers a 12-month degree course focused primarily on Science. For international students, the tuition fees are £21,700. To enroll in this degree program, students need to provide IELTS or PTE scores as part of the application process. The minimum graduation cutoff for admission is set at 50%.

Students will develop knowledge in key areas of molecular and cellular biology that support their studies in cancer biology.

Graduation

Applicants need a 2.2 CGPA or its international equivalent in any subject. They should have at least 3 modules from the following subjects: Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Cancer Biology, Computational Biology, Drug Design, Genomics, Immunology, Maths (including Statistics, Calculus, Algebra), Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Molecular Genetics, Molecular Structure and Bonding, Physiology, and Virology. Students may also be considered if they have 2 out of the 3 above modules. For Indian students, a degree with an overall grade between 50% to 55% or a CGPA between 5.3 to 5.8 out of 10 or 2.12 to 2.32 out of 4 is acceptable, depending on the institution.
