    Eligibility Criteria

    12th Grade

    To apply for Medicine, you need to have completed the CBSE All India Senior School Certificate Examination (SSC) or the CISCE Indian School Certificate (ISC) with five subjects in Class XII. You must have an overall average of 85% and at least 85% in English and Chemistry, plus two subjects from Biology, Mathematics, or Physics. If you took Grade XII CBSE Applied Mathematics, it can be used to meet the Mathematics requirement. Candidates with GCE A levels or the International Baccalaureate will also be considered if they meet the minimum entry requirements.

    Graduation

    Applications are welcomed for graduate entry to the first year. A UK 2:1 honours degree or an international equivalent is required, preferably in a medical-related subject like Biomedical Sciences, Medical Sciences, Nursing, or Paramedic Science. Applicants with a 2:1 honours degree in other science subjects (Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Physics) or non-science subjects with an SQA Higher, A Level, or equivalent in Chemistry at grade B will also be considered. The minimum score for your Bachelor's study should be 60% or more or a GPA of 8 on a 10-point scale. If you are from an Institute of Eminence or Institute of National Importance, you should achieve 55% or more or a GPA of 7.0 on a 10-point scale.
