Applicants need a 2:1 Honours degree in a physical science or engineering subject. Those with a Bachelor's degree of three or four years from a recognized university in India can apply for postgraduate taught study. Generally, a Bachelor's degree should be 55% - 60% for 2:1 equivalency, or 50% - 55% for 2:2 equivalency based on the institution. A four-year Bachelor's degree (first class or very good upper second class) or a three-year Bachelor's degree (first class) from recognized institutions in India is acceptable.
