BSc Computer Science at The University of Manchester

The University of Manchester offers a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science through its School of Computer Science. This program lasts for three years and is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in computer science principles and practices. The total tuition fee for this course is £31,000. To gain admission to the BSc Computer Science program, applicants must demonstrate their English language skills. The accepted tests for English language proficiency are the IELTS (International English Language Testing System) and PTE (Pearson Test of English).

12th Grade

To apply, students must have completed class 12th with at least 80% overall. They should have a good education background including: Mathematics (Note: Applied GCSE Mathematics courses like WJEC Mathematics - Numeracy are not accepted). They must also have two science subjects from Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or Additional Science. The university accepts Standard XII from CBSE or CISCE, requiring at least 80% in each subject and a minimum average of 85% across the best subjects, including English and Maths. For students from Gujarat, Karnataka, Maharashtra, and Tamil Nadu boards, a minimum of 85% in each subject and 90% average over the best five subjects is needed. For West Bengal board students, at least 75% in each subject and 80% average is required.
