Secondary PGCE at Cardiff Metropolitan University

Cardiff Metropolitan University offers a Secondary Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) through its School of Education & Social Policy. This is a 12-month certificate course that focuses on teaching and education. For international students, the tuition fees for this course are £14,000. Additionally, students interested in this program need to provide proof of English language proficiency, which can be demonstrated through IELTS or PTE scores.

Applicants with a D or above in GCSE (or equivalent) in English Language and Mathematics will be considered for an interview (grade 4 or above for applicants with the newly reformed GCSEs in England). Applications may be considered for certain Secondary subjects from those who have achieved below a 2:2 Honours degree, but only if they have higher qualifications and/or substantial relevant experience, like a Masters or PhD. Students with various qualifications from recognized institutions in India, such as a Bachelor of Arts or Science, Bachelor of Engineering, or a Master's degree, are also eligible.
