BSc Economics at Aston University

Application Process for Aston University

Step 1: Prepare Documents for Application

Before applying, gather all necessary documents. One important document is the Letter of Recommendation (LOR).

• Applicants must provide a reference letter.
• This letter should come from someone who knows the applicant well, especially in an academic setting. They should discuss the applicant's work ethic, how they interact with other students, and their readiness for higher education or future jobs.
• If the applicant has been out of school for a while, they can ask a current or past employer, a volunteer supervisor, or a trainer for a reference.
• For MSc Data Analytics (including Professional Practice), two professional references are needed. At least one must be from an academic referee.

Step 2: Additional Documents Required

Make sure to include all other required documents in your application. This may include:

• Transcripts from previous education
• Proof of English language proficiency (if applicable)
• Any other documents requested by the university

Step 4: Application Fees for This Course

The application fee is £20, which is approximately INR 2,110.

You can pay using a credit card or debit card. Aston University also offers a payment plan for students to pay their fees in installments.

• During enrollment, students will be set up automatically to pay in installments.
• The only method available for installment payments is online card payment.

The due dates for installment payments are:

• 50% of tuition fee by 31 October 2021
• 25% of tuition fee by 10 January 2022
• 25% of tuition fee by 25 April 2022

Step 5: Application Deadline

The application deadline for the Fall intake (September) is 30th June.
