BSc Applied Chemistry at Aston University

Aston University offers a BSc in Applied Chemistry through its School of Engineering & Applied Science. This degree program lasts for three years and focuses primarily on science. For international students, the tuition fees are £20,650 per year. 12th Grade

To apply, students must have completed their 12th grade with at least 70% from ICSE/CBSE or 75% from any State Board. Alternatively, if students have 65% from ICSE/CBSE or 70% from State Board, they must also have Chemistry at Grade B and either an EPQ or Core Maths at Grade B. Required subjects include Maths (minimum B2 from CBSE, 60% from ICSE, and 65% from State Boards in 10th grade) and English.

Aston University Application Process

Step 1: Prepare Documents for Application

Before you apply, gather all the necessary documents. This includes:

• Letter of Recommendation (LOR)

You will need to provide a reference letter. This letter should be written by someone who knows you well academically and can discuss your work ethic, how you interact with other students, and your readiness for higher education or your future career.

If you are currently in school or college, ask a tutor, teacher, principal, or head teacher for the letter. If you finished your education a while ago, you can ask an employer, volunteer supervisor, or trainer.

For the MSc Data Analytics (including Professional Practice), you need:

• Two professional references; at least one must be from an academic referee.

Step 2: Additional Documents Required

Along with your LOR, make sure to include any other required documents such as:

• Your academic transcripts
• Your CV or resume
• A personal statement explaining your interest in the course
• Proof of English language proficiency (if applicable)

Go to the UCAS website to fill out your application: UCAS Application.

Step 4: Application Fees for This Course

The application fee is £20, which is approximately INR 2.11 thousand.

You can pay using a credit card, debit card, or wire transfer. Aston University also offers a payment plan that allows students to pay their fees in installments.

While enrolled, you will be set up to pay in installments automatically. Note that the only payment method available for installment payments is online card payment.

The due dates for tuition payments are:

• 50% of tuition fee by 31 October 2021
• 25% of tuition fee by 10 January 2022
• 25% of tuition fee by 25 April 2022

Step 5: Application Deadline

The deadline for fall applications (September intake) is 30th June.
