BEng/MEng Biomedical Engineering at Aston University

Aston University offers a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) and a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Biomedical Engineering through its School of Life & Health Sciences. This program lasts for three years and focuses on the integration of engineering principles with medical and biological sciences. The tuition fee for this course is £21,100. To gain admission to the BEng/MEng Biomedical Engineering program, students need to demonstrate their English language skills. Accepted tests for this requirement include the IELTS and PTE.

12th Grade

To apply, students need to have completed their 12th grade with specific marks. They must have either: 1) 70% from a 3-year Technical/Polytechnic/Vocational Diploma after 10th grade for direct entry to UG Year 1 programs, or 2) 65% from ICSE/CBSE or 70% from State Board and NIOS (with two accepted subjects), or 3) 60% from ICSE/CBSE or 65% from State Board and NIOS (with two accepted subjects), or 4) 60% from ICSE/CBSE or 75% from State Board and NIOS (with one accepted subject and a B in Core Maths or EPQ), or 5) 55% from ICSE/CBSE or 60% from State Board and NIOS (with two accepted subjects). Accepted subjects include Maths, Physics, Further Maths, Biology, Design Technology, Engineering Science, or Electronics. Required subjects are Maths and English.
