BEng/MEng Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Aston University

Aston University provides a BEng/MEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering through its School of Engineering & Applied Science. This program lasts for three years and has a tuition fee of £20,200. To apply for this course, students must demonstrate their English language skills. 12th Grade

Students must complete their 12th grade with at least 65% marks from ICSE/CBSE or 70% from any State Board. If they are from NIOS, they need a minimum grade of B in Mathematics and a physical science or technology subject. Alternatively, students can qualify with 60% from ICSE/CBSE or 65% from State Board and must have Mathematics and a physical science or technology subject (with an EPQ or Core Maths at grade B). The required subjects include Maths and English. For GCSE, students need a Grade B in Maths, which translates to B1 from CBSE, 70% from ICSE, and 75% from State Boards in 10th grade. Accepted physical science and technology subjects are Physics, Electronics, Further Maths, Design Technology, and Engineering Science.

Aston University Application Process

Step 1: Prepare Your Documents

Before applying, make sure you have all the necessary documents ready. Here are the key documents you will need:

• Letter of Recommendation (LOR) You must provide a reference letter. This letter should be written by someone who knows you well in an academic setting. They should be able to discuss your work ethic, how you interact with other students, and your suitability for higher education or your future career. If you are currently in school or college, you can ask your tutor, teacher, principal, or head teacher for this letter. If you left education some time ago, consider asking an employer, a volunteering supervisor, or a trainer. For the MSc Data Analytics program (including Professional Practice), you need to provide two professional references. At least one must be from an academic referee.

• Academic transcripts
• Personal statement
• English language proficiency test results (if applicable)
• CV or resume (if required)
• Any other documents specified by the university

Aston University offers a payment plan option, allowing students to pay their fees in installments. During your enrollment, you will be automatically set up for installment payments. The only method available for paying your tuition fees in installments is online card payment.

• 50% of tuition fee by 31 October 2021
• 25% of tuition fee by 10 January 2022
• 25% of tuition fee by 25 April 2022
